If you’re looking for a former Dashwoodian, see if we can help
In July 2009, the Hobby Horse Festival provided a wonderful opportunity for us to show the Dashwood Souvenir History book and ask the question: Are you in it? Former pupils seemed to be everywhere at the fair, and many had a look and located themselves, their friends or family members.
New memories also flooded out, including Jennifer Tustian’s recollection of a play in her final year: ‘The Little Imp’, in which she played a doll that came to life.
Pat and Dave Tompson recalled how they met in their teens, both having been at Dashwood but not at the same time!
I went to Dashwood Rd school from 1949 until 1954. My father was a teacher at the school in those years. I would like to find old friends, Susan and Christopher Woodward. They lived with their parents at the Wheatsheaf Hotel
I’ve lived in Australia since I was 15.
My Dad was Bob Cox. Miss Tyrell and Amy Wyatt we’re teachers. I am now 76.
Thanks for this Susan, and sorry for the delay in posting it! Hope you are well in these strange times. Rebecca.
